When I Was First Asked To Treat An Autoimmune Disease (Lymphatic Cancer) I Spent Many Weeks Studying From Medical Books and Journals, To Learn Everything Possible To Find The Solutions.
I had already been working in the natural health industry for around 15 years when I was confronted with having to help a lymphatic cancer patient regain her health. — This female patient was the mother of a very close friend, and she was a very dear person who many, considered “an angel” due to how she was always helping and motivating others, and giving her support to those in need. — Obviously this did not give me reason to help this patient, any more than I would help others who were suffering because the medical and natural health professions offered no solutions, but it certainly prompted me to get in my car and drive to the Royal Brisbane Hospital Medical Library “immediately” to begin my research.
Helping this patient into remission in only 21 days, due to ideals I learned from the following 4 books and 4 medical journals, was an incredible eye-opening experience: – (1) “The Psychotherapeutic Treatment of Cancer Patients”, written by 19 specialist oncologists and published by The Free Press in 1981, a division of Macmillan Publishing 866 Third Avenue New York. ISBN 0-02-91960-X. — (2) “A Cancer Therapy” Dr. Max Gerson,. M.D. which focused on diet, (3) “You Can Conquer Cancer” Ian Gawler, which focused on using the mind to heal the body, and (4) “How To Get Well” Dr. Paavo Airola, N.D., Ph.D. was so challenging and rewarding, it completely changed the course of my ambitions. — The four medical journals I read which really changed my attitude towards the possibility of overcoming cancer are: – (1) “The Journal of Psychosomatic Medicine” Volume 16 1954. — (2) One of many medical journals that report “unfinished business” causes cancer and disease, is: – “Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics Volume 39, 1983 P181-90. — (3) This medical journal documents results of surveys that explain, stress from loss of a loved one and “grief” causes cervical cancer: – “The Journal of Psychosomatic Medicine” Vol 16 1954. — (4) This medical journal details how Breast Cancer and Pelvic difficulties are provoked to develop from ongoing stress and marital disharmony in the family: – “The Journal of Psychosomatic Research” Volume 21 1977.
The story of how my mother overcame cervical cancer through breathing exercises, the same mental freedom exercises I teach to my PD and MS clients to this day, and counselling, accompanies the story of my victory over epilepsy and several other autoimmune disorders in my eBook “Avoiding and Overcoming Cancer” which is available from the “Shop” web page on my website: – www.NoelBatten.com
In my career I have always needed to know how successful patients achieved victory and the medical research findings on any of the autoimmune disorders I have had to treat, as this is “proven”, and “regulated well-documented research” carried out by medical-fact-based people highly educated in Anatomy, Physiology, Hematology, Psychology and the Nervous system, which is mainly funded by the public. — This means, it is information made available for “everybody”, to help patients overcome their suffering. — When I was in State School I did not enjoy having to study, but when I finally found my niche in life, I absolutely loved to study to find solutions for people in need, particularly when others before me, failed to find them.
This page is dedicated to listing books (authored by medical doctors and others highly educated in matters of the autoimmune system and health) as well as medical journals that have helped me to learn. — These are but a few of the many I have read in my dedication to help the patients who have come to me for assistance, in trying to overcome their suffering: –
“An Essay On The Shaking Palsy” by Dr. James Parkinson (1817).
“The Secret Of Disease” – Dr. Howard James (1928).
“50 Case Histories Of Cancer Cured” – Dr. Max Gerson (1958).
“Oxygen Therapies” – Ed McCabe (1988).
“Cleansing The Body and The Colon For A Happier and Healthier You” by Teresa Schumacher and Toni Schumacher Lund.
“A Physician’s Diary” by Dr. Dana Myatt, N.D.
“You Live Longer With Vitamin E” by Lady Cilento M.B.,B.S.
“Anatomy Of An Illness As Perceived By The Patient” by Norman Cousins.
“Alternative Cures” by Bill Gottlieb.
“You Can Knock Out AIDS With Vitamin C and Immune Nutrients!” by Dr. Ian Brighthope M.D. with Peter Fitzgerald.
“The Art Of Being Healthy” by Dr. Gilles A. LaMarche DC,.
“The Cure For All Disease” by Hulda Clark, Ph.D,N.D.
“The Secrets Of People Who Never Get Sick” by Gene Stone.
“Proven Herbal Blends” by Daniel B. Mowrey, Ph.D.
“Natural Health, Natural Medicine” by Andrew Weil, M.D.
The library of books I have studied from in my search for excellence as a natural health practitioner specializing in treating autoimmune disorders, is wide and varied. — This list above, comprises my most valued books, and with an open mind, eager for knowledge on the mind and body and the mind and body interaction, I continue my journey for answers that can give my clients a speedy recovery.
